Amorim's young talents: Camarda ready, Comotto waiting
The Milan coach defends his squad management and backs the youth prospects. On the young center-back: "You only know a player if you let him play".
Ruben Amorim addresses the mounting pressures with clarity. In his press conference, the Milan manager reiterated how he handles criticism and the weight of expectations attached to a top-level bench. "It's normal at a club of this level," he observes, "and I already knew it from the third match against Juventus." The squad, according to Amorim's assessment, is improving steadily: better game control, more aggressive pressing, conscious possession.
On Francesco Camarda the discussion becomes more specific. The Portuguese coach defends limited playing time by stressing a basic football principle: "You only know a player if you let him play." Camarda, in his evaluation, has already proven worthy during the summer preparation and possesses the qualities to perform. Christian Comotto, though not yet deployed, remains part of the project. Both the former and the latter, along with Cisse, represent Milan's path in giving space to youth academy prospects.
Amorim rules out tensions with Cardinale and confirms a medium-to-long-term vision. Rotation for upcoming matches will be calibrated, but the coach maintains control over the timing of insertions. Camarda and his peers must be ready: the opportunity, in his scheme, will come.
