Mission 2030

Russia 2018. Qatar 2022. North America 2026. Three consecutive World Cups without Italy: a wound no Azzurri fan thought they would have to endure, let alone three times in a row. The last one, the most painful, on penalties in Zenica against Bosnia, in March 2026.

Yet in the academies, in Serie A and increasingly abroad, a generation of real talent is growing. Defenders learning from Van Dijk at Liverpool, strikers who debuted in Serie A at 15, midfielders taking over Premier League and La Liga sides. Talent was never the problem: attention was. Too many kids grow up far from the spotlight, and the national team notices them late — or never.

That is why Italian Next Gen exists. Every day our editorial team scours sports dailies, foreign press and club websites for news about every young Italian in the youth national team system or playing abroad, verifies it and publishes only the best of it — always linking the original source. Performances, transfers, call-ups: no talent should go unnoticed again.

The goal is a single one, written into our name: reaching the 2030 World Cup with the most followed, told and supported generation in the history of Italian football.Forza Azzurri, forza ragazzi.
