Catanzaro becomes Italy's talent factory: Pafundi joins Cissè and Liberali
The Calabrian club solidifies its role as a springboard for promising young talent in Serie B. Pafundi follows in the footsteps of those who came before him through the youth ranks.
Catanzaro has become an almost inevitable stop in the development pathway for promising young Italian footballers. After launching Alphadjo Cissè and Mattia Liberali, the Calabrian club adds another interesting prospect to its roster: Simone Pafundi.
The consistency in developing talent is no accident. The club has created an environment where young prospects find concrete opportunities to grow, away from the spotlight but with professional rigor. A model that appeals whenever the market identifies interesting profiles from Italy's lower divisions.
Now it's Pafundi's turn to write his story in the yellow-and-red shirt, following the path set by those who preceded him in this Serie B academy.
