Camarda eyes his chance as Milan face demanding schedule
With Ramos struggling for goals in Serie A, Milan's young striker prepares to seize opportunities in the coming weeks. Amorim has kept him at the club: now he must prove his readiness.
Ramos's season at Milan is proving difficult: just one goal in the first six league matches, that coming against Venezia. Against Sassuolo he went blank again despite two decisive saves by Muric. An insufficient tally for a player of his standing and for the investment required by the club, which expects far better output from the ex-PSG man.
Against this backdrop of uncertainty, attention turns to Francesco Camarda. The young forward has been retained at Milanello by coach Amorim but has received limited playing time and little faith from the Portuguese tactician so far. Yet the signs are encouraging: the player stands out in training, earns the respect of the coaching staff and enjoys the esteem of his teammates. Modric himself regularly mentors him.
The coming weeks will be crucial. A busy calendar across Serie A and European competitions will open important doors for Camarda, who must be ready when called upon. The club will assess his performance through January: if results disappoint, the path could open for another loan spell, with several clubs already circling with interest.
